Description
Pink Sapphire comes from the corundum family. It gets its pink because of the presense of the trace element chromium. Pink sapphires naturally occur in nature and it is common to heat (thermal enhancement) pink sapphires to improve their colour. The untreated ones are rare and command a premium. We make the following calibrated sizes and can even make other in-between sizes as well. For rounds, we can cut step cut and brilliant cut (diamond cut). For squares, we can cut step cut and princess cut and and special cuts such as french cut as well.
